Laura Elo is most interested in photographing people and moments in nature, on streets, in cafés or other places where her subjects feel at home. On her photography trips, she walks dozens of kilometers every day with her camera backpack, observing her surroundings with open eyes and stopping to talk to people.
“Genuine encounters with strangers give me a lot, both as person and as a photographer. I let the tone of their stories and the mood around them be reflected in my work.”

Laura Eloa kiinnostaa eniten ihmisten ja tilanteiden kuvaaminen luonnossa, kaduilla, kahviloissa tai ylipäätänsä heille tutuissa ympäristöissä. Hän kävelee kuvausmatkoillaan päivittäin kymmeniä kilometrejä kameralaukku selässä, tarkastellee avoimesti ympärilleen ja pysähtyy juttelemaan ihmisten kanssa.
